The Hunting Lodge Hotel is a family owned and run hotel about 9 miles from Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsular The hotel is the former hunting lodge of the Duke of Argyll, it is situated right on the shore with unspoilt views over the Atlantic Ocean to the Islands of Gigha, Islay and Jura. The Hotel is with easy reach of excellent golf courses, stunning scenery, pretty harbourside towns and plentiful and varied wildlife. We are now registered for civil weddings, so you can have your service and reception at the hotel even if you do not wish to have a religious ceremony. The hotel has it's own private stretch of beach that guests are free to make use of. From the beach you might be lucky enough to see seals dolphins and porpoises. We specialise in offering golfing holidays with all of the golf courses in Kintyre being readily accessible from the Hunting Lodge Hotel. Indeed we can offer guests a 10% on the green fees at the world famous Machrihanish Golf Course.
